How Sitesafe Drone Services handles your information, what the website records, and how to change your cookie choice. Last updated 13 August 2026.
This website is operated by Site Safe Drone Services Limited, trading as Sitesafe Drone Services. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17313182. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.
For anything on this page, contact lawrence@sitesafedrones.co.uk or call 07356 259212. We are the data controller for the information described here.
If you fill in an enquiry form on this site, we receive the details you type in: your name, your company if you add one, your email address, your phone number and whatever you tell us about the site or building. If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp instead, we hold that conversation and the contact details it came from.
We use that information for one purpose: to reply to you, quote for the work and, if you go ahead, carry out and invoice the job. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests where you have approached us about a possible job, and contract where we are working for you. Where we are required to keep records for tax or insurance purposes, the basis is legal obligation.
We use website analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where in the country they are, and whether they clicked to call, message or email us. This tells us whether the site is doing its job. It is counting, not identifying: we do not use it to work out who an individual visitor is, and we do not use it for advertising or to build profiles.
Analytics that rely on cookies only run if you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you press No thanks, they do not run at all and the site behaves exactly the same.

This website | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so the banner does not keep asking. Strictly necessary, and set whichever answer you give. | 6 months |

Google Analytics | Counts visits and tells returning visits apart from new ones. Only set if you press Accept. | Up to 2 years |
Nothing on this site sets advertising cookies. Google Analytics is configured with advertising features and data sharing switched off, and with IP addresses anonymised.
You can also clear cookies at any time in your browser settings. If you do, the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Our surveys produce photographs and video of buildings and sites. That imagery is captured for the client who commissioned the survey and is shared privately with them. We keep the flight focused on the structure being inspected, we minimise incidental capture of people and neighbouring property, and we review imagery before anything is issued. Survey footage is not published on this website or on social media without the client's agreement.
If you believe you or your property have been captured incidentally in our imagery and you want to ask about it, contact us using the details above and we will look into it.
Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept while there is a realistic prospect of the job, then deleted. Records relating to completed jobs, including reports, invoices and the imagery behind a report, are kept for as long as we may need them to answer a query or a claim about that work, and to meet HMRC record-keeping requirements. Analytics data is held by Google on the retention setting applied to our account.
We use a small number of established suppliers to run the business, and your information may pass through their systems:
Some of these providers are based outside the UK, so information may be transferred abroad. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as UK approved standard contractual clauses.
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, and object to us handling it. Where you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Ask by email and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
